Rite-Aid sued over parking lot fall

CHARLESTON - A Kanawha County woman blames Rite-Aid after she fell and was injured in a store parking lot.

Teresa Green filed a suit Feb. 1 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Rite-Aid of West Virginia. After a visit to the Rite-Aid located at 3801 MacCorkle Ave. in Charleston, Green fell in the parking lot and was injured.

The suit claims the store in negligent because there were holes in the parking lot which caused Green to fall.

Green seeks compensatory damages.

Green is being represented by G. Patrick Jacobs, and the case has been assigned to Judge Louis Bloom.
