MORGANTOWN - A Berkeley County woman filed a suit against a hotel in Morgantown after she slipped on a sidewalk at the hotel.
Cheryl D. Anders filed a suit March 30 in Monongalia Circuit Court against Hampton Inn.
The suit says that Nov. 27, 2005, Anders slipped on a painted concrete entryway leading into the Hampton Inn and was injured.
The suit claims the hotel should have kept the premises in a reasonably safe condition and that the paint caused the sidewalk to be more slippery.
As a result of her fall, Anders has undergone various expenses and will continue to incur them.
Anders seeks an amount to compensate her for her injuries, plus other relief.
