Sloan
MARTINSBURG -- Alyssa A. Sloan, Of Counsel to Steptoe & Johnson, has relocated her practice to the firm's Martinsburg office.
Sloan concentrates her practice in the representation and counseling of employers in workers compensation and related employment matters.
Sloan is a 1996 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, where she chaired the Ethics Committee. She graduated from WVU in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and minors in Sociology and History.
Sloan is a member of the Worker's Compensation Committee of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and serves on the WVU Department of Political Science Advisory Board. She also participates in the Read Aloud Program in Berkeley County and has recently been appointed to the Board of CASA of the Eastern Panhandle.
Prior to her employment with Steptoe & Johnson, Sloan clerked for the Honorable Margaret L. Workman, Justice of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and the Honorable Alan D. Moats, Circuit Judge, 19th Judicial Circuit.
