CHARLESTON - A Kanawha County woman has filed a suit against a local motel, claiming she was injured when she fell on the motel's property.
Debra K. Bainbridge filed a suit April 27 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Jefferson Motel.
According to the suit, Bainbridge was a visitor at the motel on Feb. 24, 2006. Bainbridge claims she fell on a set of steps while walking around the back of the motel.
She claims she was severely injured and has incurred many medical expenses.
Bainbridge seeks compensatory and punitive damages for her injuries.
Attorney Cynthia E. Evans is representing Bainbridge. The case has been assigned to Judge Louis Bloom.
