Edward Hornak v. General Glass Company Incorporated, et. al.

* Hornak was employed by General Glass as a window glazier and was installing windows at King's Daughter's Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. He was working on a ladder when he allegedly fell 40 feet to the ground through a window opening. The suit alleges Hornak suffered injuries including a broken jaw and a collapsed lung. Hornak claims he was working without proper fall protection or safety equipment. He is seeking $10,000,000 in damages.

John Montanez v. Daniel F. Muth Jr., Roger A. Muth, D.P.M. Inc., dba CLUB INN BETWEEN
PA-W. Michael Frazier J-John L. Cummings
* Montanez owns the property in Huntington where the Club Inn Between was operated for more than 25 years. When the defendants moved out of the building, they allegedly removed items belonging to Montanez including fixtures, hot water tanks, copper piping and roof top air conditioners. The suit claims the value of items taken is in excess of $20,000. Montanez also alleges the defendants damaged the property by ripping out walls and electrical wires, cutting holes in the roof and destroying the bar, which he claims will cost in excess of $15,000 to repair. Montanez is seeking $35,000 in compensatory damages and additional punitive damages.
