Couple sues Chick-Fil-A after woman slipped on wet floor

MORGANTOWN - A Morgantown Chick-Fil-A is being sued after a woman allegedly slipped on a wet floor and was injured.

Kathy and Bruce Clinton filed a suit May 9 in Monongalia Circuit Court. According to the suit, they were visiting the Chick-Fil-A on Patteson Drive in Morgantown.

The suit says the floor had just been mopped and there were so warning signs that the floor was wet. Kathy Clinton slipped and fell.

Clinton claims she had to pay medical expenses and suffered lost wages, pain and suffering, and personal injury. She seeks compensation for her damagers.

Bruce Clinton claims he has sustained the loss of care, comfort and consortium from his wife. He also seeks compensation for his damages.

Attorney Michael L. Solomon is representing the Clintons.
