* Rebecca White is suing William and Rosella Perry after she fell down a flight of stairs at an apartment building they own. White claims she injured her right foot, ankle and forearm. She seeks compensation for her damages.

* Attorney General Darrell McGraw's office filed a suit against Harper's Heating and Cooling, saying the company took money from customers but did not provide the promised services. The suit says Harper's Heating and Cooling and President Edwin Burns engaged in unfair and deceptive practices regarding the sale and installation of heating and air conditioning equipment. The AG's office seeks an injunction making Burns pay $5,000 for every violation.
