Mary Adkins v. St.Mary's Medical Center

* Adkins was leaving St. Mary's when she tripped and fell over a piece of metal protruding from the ground, presumably a parking meter or sign that had been partially removed. Adkins claims that St.Mary's should have properly removed or marked the metal as a hazard and as a result of the fall, she suffered severe injuries. Adkins is seeking damages in excess of $100,000.00.

Boyd Finley, as Guardian of Mary Phyllis Finley v. Green Acres Regional Center Inc.
PA-Richard E. Rowe; J-John L. Cummings
* Ms. Finley is a developmentally disabled adult who was receiving care and supervision from Green Acres. According to the suit, a Green Acres employee, Russell Legg, "intentionally and forcefully engaged in sexual conduct against the Plaintiff." Mr. Finley claims Green Acres is responsible for the misconduct of its employee and thus should pay compensatory and punitive damages.

Jan Wright v. Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) of Huntington and Jody Parker
PA-Michael L. Glasser; J-John L. Cummings
* Wright was receiving swim instructions at the YMCA from Parker when
another female swimmer came toward her and allegedly crashed into her
left side, causing serious and permanent injuries. Wright claims the
YMCA was negligent by failing to implement a system to keep a proper
lookout to prevent injuries to individuals using the pool.
