Rebecca Lake and William T. Lake v. Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.

* Rebecca Lake was shopping at a Huntington Wal-Mart when she allegedly slipped and fell on what appeared to be dishwashing liquid. The suit claims Lake suffered serious personal injuries as a result of the fall. Lake is seeking compensatory damages.

Margaret Traylor v. Tri-State Transit Authority (TTA), the City of Huntington and Donald Taylor
PA-Robert M. Losey; J-John L. Cummings
* Traylor was stepping off a TTA bus in Huntington and onto a "hole and/or an area of uneven terrain" which caused her to allegedly be thrown violently to the ground and sustain injury. Traylor is suing the TTA and the City of Huntington claiming negligence. She claims the TTA should have known of the hole and not permitted her to exit at the point.

Geneva Swartz v. City Holding Company

* Swartz was walking through the drive-thru window of City National Bank in April 2007 when she fell. The suit claims Geneva has incurred medical expenses in excess of $20,000. She is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
