Pa. woman says Harper's Ferry B&B to blame for fall

CHARLES TOWN - A Pennsylvania woman has filed a suit against a bed and breakfast in Harper's Ferry after she was injured when she fell on the back porch of the premises.

Margaret Bresnahan filed a suit Oct. 4 in Jefferson Circuit Court against Angler's Inn and the owners of the property, Bryan and Deborah Kelly.

According to the suit, Bresnahan was a guest at Angler's Inn on Oct. 8, 2005. During her stay, she fell on a step on the back porch of the premises.

She claims the Kellys owed her a duty to exercise reasonable care to maintain the premises in a safe condition.

Bresnahan seeks compensation for hospital and medical care. She also seeks judgment to be determined by a trial.

Attorney Barry P. Beck is representing Bresnahan.
