* Starcher is suing Value City after she allegedly slipped and fall on ice in the store's parking lot. She claims her the fall has caused her to incur $11,973.53 in medical expenses. Starcher is also suing Melody T Farms, a Huntington horse farm, because the company owns the property on which the lot is situated. She is seeking compensatory damages.

Robert A. Barnes v. Cynthia G. Saxton

*Barnes was riding his bicycle on 5th Avenue in Huntington when he was allegedly struck by Saxton, who was driving a 2002 Ford Taurus. The suit claims Barnes suffered permanent injuries as a result of the crash. Barnes also alleges that Saxton was an uninsured/underinsured motorist at the time of incident. He is seeking damages in an amount not to exceed $74,999.99.

* Carolyn and Michael Lambert are suing CHH on behalf of their infant child. The suit claims the employees of the hospital failed to provide adequate, proper and safe medical and nursing care to their daughter, which eventually resulted in, among other things, the development of decubitus ulcers and disfigurement. The parents are seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
