* As an employee of Ruby Memorial Hospital, Mary Maine was transferring a patient onto an ambulance gurney for transport, when the gurney collapsed without warning striking Maine. As a result of the injury, Maine sustained tarsal tunnel syndrome in her left foot that required surgery, a left leg and left foot crush injury, posterial tibial tendonitis and bruises and injuries in the nerves, muscles, bones, tendons and ligaments. Plaintiff is seeking judgment for compensatory damages.
