HUNTINGTON - A Cabell County couple has filed a suit against a local retail store after the wife was injured when she fell in front of the building.
Eleanor Sue and James Bryan filed the suit Feb. 29 in Cabell Circuit Court, against AT&T Mobility and Gemini Properties.
According to the suit, the Bryans went to the AT&T store at 3509 U.S. 60, on April 13, 2006.
Upon arrival at the store, Eleanor Bryan stepped on a wheel stop, the concrete barricade in each parking spot, and fell. Bryan injured her head, right shoulder, left elbow, right arm and left leg, the suit says.
Bryan was required to seek extensive medical care for her injuries. She claims she has suffered great pain of body and mind and will suffer indefinitely into the future.
James Bryan claims he has suffered income loss associated with his wife maintain contact with health care providers.
Together, the Bryans seek compensatory damages to cover their injuries.
Attorney Paul A. Ryker is representing the Bryans. The case has been assigned to Judge John L. Cummings.
