Man says couple was illegally dumping debris on his property

CHARLESTON - A Kanawha County man has filed a suit against two individuals he claims were illegally trespassing on his property.

Larry Medley filed the suit April 28 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Anita and Daniel Chambers, claiming the Chambers were dumping brush, debris and wood on his property without his permission.

The suit also says the Chambers constructed three drainpipes and a rock retaining wall on Medley's property.

Medley also claims the Chambers cut grass on property he owned.

According to the suit, Medley seeks the cost of damages, as well as a court order requiring the Chambers to remove the wood and refuse pile, the retaining wall and the drainage pipes, to cease from cutting the grass on his property and additional relief.

Attorney O. Gay Elmore Jr. is representing Medley. The case has been assigned to Judge Paul Zakaib.
