Greear releases first anti-McGraw ad

Greear

CHARLESTON - State Attorney General candidate Dan Greear has released his first advertisement of the campaign season, alleging that Attorney General Darrell McGraw hands out lawsuit settlements to campaign contributors.

Entitled "McGraw's Game of Monopoly," the 49-second ad quotes local news sources such as the Charleston Daily Mail and the Wheeling Intelligencer.

"Newspapers across the state clearly understand McGraw's schemes are hurting our state and our business climate," said Greear, a Republican.

"Unfortunately, Darrell treats taxpayer money like it's his to give out as he sees fit. This arrogance must be stopped."

"This is the first ad we have launched and focuses on McGraw's record," Greear added. "In the days ahead, we will be announcing other commercials focusing on where I want to take the office."

The Greear campaign has visited all 55 West Virginia counties and intends to run a mix of broadcast and internet advertisements until election day.
