CHARLESTON - A Kanawha County woman filed a suit against a woman who allegedly injured her in the parking lot of a Kanawha County business.
Debra Moore filed the suit Aug. 18 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Gloria Jean Pennington.
According to the suit, Moore was standing in the parking lot of Crede Warehouse on Aug. 24, 2006.
At the same time, Pennington backed her van out of its parking spot and pinned Moore against another vehicle in the parking lot.
Moore claims she sustained injuries to her back, arms, legs and hips, and sustained medical expenses.
According to the suit, Moore seeks unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.
Attorney G. Wayne VanBibber is representing Moore. The case has been assigned to Judge Jennifer Bailey Walker.
