Painter files four suits for nonpayment

WINFIELD – A painter has filed four lawsuits against people and companies he claims owe him for services and work.

Cecil "Willie" Noble, doing business as Noble's Painting, filed the lawsuits Jan. 2 in Putnam Circuit Court.

The suits, filed Jan. 2, list the defendants as Dan S. and Jeanne Duncan; J3 Construction LLC; Michael and Vicky Martin; and Topcat Development LLC, Sudhir Srivastrava, M.D., and Shawn A. Parker.

Noble, a residential and commercial painter, says the Duncans owe him $12,055 for work done at their home, J3 owes him $6,674 for work done at Stonegate subdivision. The Martins owe him $9,672 for work done at their home. He says Topcat, Srivastrava and Parker owe him $7,300 for work done at Cobblestone development.

Noble is represented by Teays Valley attorney J. Robert Leslie. One of the cases was assigned to Circuit Judge O.C. "Hobby" Spaulding, and the other three were assigned to Circuit Judge Philip Stowers.
