* Montgomery was employed by a franchise of Liberty Tax Service to stand outside of the business for advertising purposes. She says she is short and smaller than the average female. She was given a one-size-fits-all Statue of Liberty costume to wear for her job. The size of the outfit caused her to fall and break her arm. She sues for negligence. She seeks compensatory damages for her injuries, medical expenses and punitive damages, as well as attorney fees, costs, pre- and post-judgment interest and other relief.

Betty Milton v. Cliffside Inn LLC

* On Nov. 1, 2008, Milton claims she was injured because Cliffside Inn failed to maintain its premises in a safe condition. Milton says she already has incurred hospital, medical and related expenses in excess of $50,000 and will incur future medical expenses in an undetermined amount. She seeks compensatory damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees and costs.

James and Diane Fillinger v. Steven Siegel and Paula Harrison

* In the summer of 2005, Siegel contacted the plaintiffs and offered to sell them a one-half interest in a business known as Springfield Towing Inc. The Fillingers agreed to purchase a one-half interest in the business. On Sept. 30, 2005, the Plaintiffs paid the Defendants the sum of $80,000 for the one-half interest. They say the defendants have failed and refuse to perform under the Agreement and have failed and refuse to convey a one-half interest in the business to the Plaintiffs and have converted cash and other property to their own benefit. They seek compensatory and punitive damages, costs and attorney fees.
