CHARLESTON -– The West Virginia Supreme Court will hear arguments March 10 in the Lugar Courtroom at the West Virginia University College of Law.
The court annually makes the trip to Morgantown during its Spring Term in order to allow law students to watch the court and the lawyers arguing before it in action.
That days' argument session will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 5 p.m.
The following cases are on the docket:
* Sue J. Erps and William G. Erps v. West Virginia Human Rights Commission (case number: 34262)
* Russell Stuyvesant, administrator v. Preston County Commission (case number: 34137)
* State of West Virginia v. Michael S. Hutzler (cast number: 34158)
* Dan's Carworld, LLC v. David Serian (case number: 34146)
The court will also hear arguments in Lewisburg on March 24 as part of its LAWS Project, meant to give high school students the opportunity to experience a Supreme Court session near their hometowns.
This year's session will take place at the Greenbrier County Courthouse and is being sponsored by the circuit courts of Greenbrier, Pocahontas, Monroe and Summers counties.
