Vicki Lynn Stover v. Thundering Herd Development, LLC

* Thundering Herd Development owns a tract of land adjacent to the land owned by Stover. She claims the company developed the land in a way that diverted ground water, dirt and debris onto her property. She claims she will incur expenses in excess of $90,000. She is seeking damages in that amount and an injunction that would require the Defendant to repair the property.

Timothy W. Cooke v. The Marshall University Board of Governors
PA-William A. Davis; J-Jane Hustead
* Cooke was a patient of the University Eye Surgeons and in 2007, underwent surgery for cataracts in both his eyes. He was later diagnosed with a detached retina in his left eye. Cooke claims the eye surgeons failed to exercise the needed degree of care and skill and, as a result, has suffered extreme mental and physical pain.

James E. Holley v. Fredeking & Fredeking Law Offices
PA-Donald J. Tennant Jr.; J-Jane Hustead
* Holley hired Fredeking in 2004 to pursue a personal injury lawsuit on his behalf. Holley claims he wrecked his motorized scooter in 2004 in Wayne County as a result of a recessed drainage grate set below industry standards. Fredeking represented Holley in the suit and ultimately settled the case for $25,000. Holley claims he is entitled to much more than that and also claims Fredeking was negligent in his representation of Holley. He alleges Fredeking failed to interview witnesses, investigate his injuries or pursue litigation.
