Woman sues St. Albans man for indecent exposure

CHARLESTON – A couple from Tornado is suing a St. Albans man they claim exposed himself repeatedly to one of them.

Amelia and Cebert Brammer filed a lawsuit May 1 against Bill Rose in Kanawha Circuit Court.

The plaintiffs say Amelia was employed by Rose as a caretaker for his mother.

According to the complaint, on May 5, 2007, Rose "negligently, carelessly and unlawfully exposed himself in a nude and brazen manner" to Amelia at his St. Albans residence.

Amelia claims she suffered severe and permanent injuries as well as emotional distress, psychiatric trauma and mental anguish due to Rose's alleged behavior.

Cebert claims loss of consortium.

The couple is seeking compensatory damages.

Duane C. Rosenlieb Jr. is representing the plaintiffs. The case is before Kanawha Circuit Judge Irene Berger.
