* Maynard was an employee of Rockspring Development and worked as a trackman for the company. In April 2007, he was driving a manbus up a steep hill when, according to the suit, the bus began rolling backward. Maynard claims the hand break malfunctioned and he couldn't stop. As a result, he crashed into a steel beam. Maynard received workers' compensation benefits and is now seeking compensatory damages.

Deborah and Dale Wallace v. Town of Wayne, Wayne Water and Sewer Services

* Mrs. Wallace parked in the parking lot of the Wayne Post Office. When she stepped out of her truck, her foot touched a water meter cover, which flipped and caused her to fall in the hole, according to the suit. Wallace claims the Town of Wayne failed to warn her that the water meter cover was not safe and she is seeking punitive and compensatory damages.
