* Ms. Thompson worked for Rite Aid for approximately 7 1/2 years. During this time she claims Dooley, Pavlic, Tackett and Thaxton sexually harassed her and created a hostile work environment. She claims she reported each of the incidents to corporate headquarters, who allegedly refused to remedy the situation and sent her home. She and her husband, Randall Thompson, are suing for medical expenses, lost wages and benefits, pain and suffering, loss for enjoyment of life, aggravation, mental anguish, humiliation, embarrassment, loss of consortium and punitive damages.

* On Sept. 1, 2007, Michael Nicholas Porter-Griggs, son of Dorcas and Phillip Griggs, was struck by a vehicle owned by Bruce Rutledge and operated by Julie Rutledge, according to the suit. Ms. Griggs claims Ms. Rutledge was talking on a cell phone while and failed to keep a proper lookout of the roadway, resulting in Porter-Griggs' death. According to the suit, the unknown John Doe(s) may have caused the incident that left Porter-Griggs in the roadway where Rutledge struck him. Griggs is suing for pain and suffering, funeral expenses, lost wages, wrongful death, loss of consortium and punitive damages.
