* Shepherd was a patient at University Family Allergy and was receiving allergy immunotherapy as a series of allergy shots on July 9, 2007. According to the suit, the shots that were administered were separately and specifically for each patient based on their medical needs and sensitivities to certain allergens. Shepherd claims she was misidentified and received an allergy shot that had been prepared for another patient, resulting in her body going into anaphylactic shock, leading to throat swelling and tightness, drooling, inability to swallow, lip swelling and breathing difficulty. Shepherd is suing for compensatory damages.

Encompass Indemnity Company v. Ann Adkins

* Terry Triplett was insured by Encompass Indemnity Company. On Dec. 13, 2008, Triplett was involved in a car accident involving Adkins. According to the suit, Adkins was operating her vehicle in a grossly negligent and reckless manner causing her vehicle to collide with Triplett's vehicle, which resulted in property damage. Encompass Indemnity Company is suing Adkins for the amount of the vehicle, $22,399.95.
