HUNTINGTON -- A man says a cab driver ran into him while he was standing on a Huntington street.
Randi Bogard filed a lawsuit July 7 in Cabell Circuit Court against Taxi Services Inc. and driver Russell H. Elliott of Catlettsburg, Ky.
Bogard, who lives in Huntington, said that on May 5, 2008, he was standing beside a vehicle in the 1300 block of Fourth Avenue.
At the same time, the complaint says Elliott was driving his 2000 Ford Crown Victoria down the same street and ran into Bogard, injuring him.
Bogard blames Elliott for being careless, reckless and negligence in the operation of his cab.
The plaintiff claims he suffered physical and emotional injujries as a result of the collision and will require medical care into the future.
Bogard is seeking compensatory damages.
