* The plaintiffs question the handling of the estate of Brenda Lee Yeager, who died in July 2008. Jones was named administratrix of the estate by the Commission in September 2008. In August, the plaintiffs moved to re-open the estate to challenge final disposition. That motion was denied. They seek Partition and Quiet Title Deed. On Sept. 10, Jones' answer was filed seeking the complaint be dismissed and that she be allowed attorney fees and court costs.

Lincoln County Board of Education vs. Any and All Persons Claiming Any Right or Interest in Beech Street Closed by Lincoln County Commission's Order of August 3, 1981

* The Board petitioned to quiet title of the long closed street in Branchland that runs along Guyan Valley Middle School. The Court ordered a public hearing Nov. 20 for persons to contest finalizing title of the closed street to the school board.
