Sheila J. McGhee and Curtis C. McGhee vs. Family Dollar Inc. a/k/a Family Dollar Stores of West Virginia Inc. and Family Dollar Operations Inc.

* On Sept. 25, 2007, at the corner of 26th and Chapline Streets, Family Dollar failed to exercise a duty of care for the safety of the plaintiff, causing her to fall. Defendant had constructive knowledge of the dangerous conditions created by a defective floor. Lasting injuries have been sustained and compensatory damages are sought, both jointly and severally.

* Linda Marshall was the owner and operator of a Chevy truck on Sept. 26, 2007. At the intersection of Bethany Pike and Hamilton Avenue, Lewis struck and collided with plaintiffs. The direct and proximate result of this failure to yield resulted in internal and external injuries, inasmuch as parts are believed permanent in nature. Prosecution for compensatory relief is demanded by a court or jury trial.

* Wheeling Housing owns an apartment complex located at Hil Dar. Plaintiff sustained a fall upon existing his apartment, due to the presence of rain, ice or snow on the sidewalk surface. These conditions are claimed as a direct and proximate result of defendant's negligence and breach of duty. Compensatory damages are requested.
