Pierson Refrigeration Services sues company for breach of contract

CHARLESTON -- Pierson Refrigeration Services is suing a company for breach of contract.

On March 9, 2003, Calvin J. Canterbury, president of Cal Corp, completed a credit application to obtain a line of credit for services rendered by Pierson Refrigeration Services, according to a complaint filed Oct. 23 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

The company claims Cal Corp failed to pay a sum of $1,907.91 and a sum of $15,809.73.

According to the suit, despite a demand and various assurances of payment, the amounts due to Pierson Refrigeration Services are still unpaid.

Pierson Refrigeration Services is suing for these sums of money. The company is being represented by James M. Pierson of Pierson Legal Services.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Irene C. Berger.
