HUNTINGTON -- Steel of West Virginia is suing a North Carolina corporation for failure to make payment on five transactions between 2007 and 2009.
SWVA claims A.M. Haire Body Co. Inc. has not made payment on the five transactions that totaled $27,188.76, according to a complaint filed Dec. 16 in Cabell Circuit Court.
The defendant made transactions on Nov. 7, 2007, Dec. 18, 2007, Aug. 29, 2008, Jan. 28, 2009, and March 16, 2009, to have the products shipped to them, according to the suit.
SWVA claims by not paying for the goods sold to them, the defendant breached its contract.
SWVA is seeking for damages in the amount of $27,188.76. The company is being represented by Thomas E. Scarr, Arnold J. Janicker and John A. Hess of Jenkins Fenstermaker, PLLC.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge David M. Pancake.
