* The Keyser man was an elected member of the Keyser City Council from July 1, 1998 to June 2008. He also served as Keyser's Water and Sewer Commissioner throughout his tenure on the city council. McNeill filled an unexpired term on the city council beginning in 1999. In August 2006 McNeill made a 3.5 hour presentation to Droppleman and Nelson as part of an investigation into alleged financial improprieties and accused Rice of embezzlement, according to the suit. The charges against Rice were dropped. He is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

* Abdul-Jalil had medical staff privileges in pediatrics and internal medicine at Welch Emergency Hospital. He agreed to work at Welch Community Hospital when called upon on a month-to-month basis. The hospital tried to recruit him into a more permanent agreement, but Abdul-Jalil claims he chose not to accept the terms. On Dec. 27, 2007, Abdul-Jalil was involved in several verbal disputes with another physician over the proper course of treatment for a patient. He claims later his privileges were revoked. He is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

* The Nitro woman claims n July 17, 2008, she was a passenger in a vehicle operated by her son and was on the premise as a customer and/or invitee of the Cross Lanes Pennzoil 10-Minute Oil Exchange Center. She claims as she exited the passenger side of the vehicle and proceeded around the rear of the vehicle to the waiting area she fell "head first approximately six feet to the bottom of the pit." She claims she was rendered unconscious and sustained severe permanent injuries. She is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

* The Murdocks were employed by the defendants. On Dec. 14, 2007, the Murdocks claim the defendants began to subject them to age discrimination. Mr. Murdock claims the defendants specifically advised him they were aware of a 35-year-old person they had in mind to replace him once he was no longer employed. He claims he was wrongfully terminated from his employment Jan. 31, 2008. Mrs. Murdock claims she witnessed the discriminatory practices against her husband, but continued to work until July 7, when she was forced to resign because the defendants harassed her. They are seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
