* On May 27, 2009, J.S.M. was an invitee on the McCoy property along with three other minors, J.R.C, C.F. and J.H. and were in the fenced in backyard and in and out of a storage building, according to the suit. The plaintiffs claim the McCoys failed to provide adequate supervision of the minors and to secure dangerous tools. J.S.M. was "seriously and permanently injured...when he was struck in the heady with a heavy object concealed in a blanket." The plaintiffs are seeking compensatory and general damages.
