Charleston urologist sued for medical malpractice

CHARLESTON — A man is suing a Charleston urologist for medical malpractice and negligence.

In Jan. 2008 Angelo Argento began seeing Dr. Frederick Martinez, according to a complaint filed Jan. 19 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

Argento claims Martinez was negligent in his care and as a result, he has suffered bodily injuries; physical pain and mental anguish; disfigurement and deformities; humiliation and embarrassment; incurred expenses for doctors, institutional care, hospital care, nursing care, medicine, equipment and related items of service; and suffered an impairment of his capacity to enjoy life.

Argento is seeking compensatory damages. He is being represented by William S. Druckman and Madonna C. Estep.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Carrie Webster.
