Brickstreet Mutual sues Blackberry Enterprises, individual for failure to pay insurance premiums

WAYNE -- Brickstreet Mutual Insurance Company is suing Blackberry Enterprises Inc. and one of its employees for failing to pay more than $12,000 in insurance premiums.

Brickstreet provided insurance to Blackberry Enterprises and Greg Hatfield, according to a complaint filed Jan. 14 in Wayne Circuit Court.

The defendants owe Brickstreet $12,987 in premiums and have yet to make payment for the insurance provided, according to the suit.

Brickstreet is seeking for damages in the amount of $12,987 with pre- and post-judgment interest, late charges and collection fees. The company is being represented by Clinton W. Smith.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge James H. Young Jr.
