* Watts was employed as a waitress at Midland's Pizza Hut restaurant on U.S. Route 60. She claims in January and February Carter asked her for a sexual favors, to which she refused. On March 2, she claims she told Carter she had a problem with how he treated her and gave special treatment to other co-workers. Carter advised her to leave and if she had a problem with him she was suspended and would be contacted when she could return to work, according to the suit. On March 9, Watts claims when she went to pick up her pay check she was told she had been fired because she did not show up for work. She is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

* On Feb. 24, 2006, Jenkins was involved in a motor vehicle accident near Lavalette and was taken from the scene of the accident by ambulance to St. Mary's Medical Center. At the hospital the defendants failed to diagnose and treat a foreign object lodged in or around her eye, according to the suit. Jenkins claims the defendants breached their duty of acceptable care. She is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
