CHARLESTON -- A Dunbar man is suing 25 companies for exposing him to asbestos and causing his lung cancer.
On Oct 28, 2009, Norris Gene Keeling was diagnosed with lunch cancer, according to a complaint filed March 18 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Keeling claims he was exposed to asbestos products of the defendants while working at various job sites over many years.
The defendants are being sued for negligence, contaminated buildings, breach of expressed/implied warranty, strict liability, intentional tort, conspiracy, misrepresentations and post-sale duty to warn, according to the suit.
Keeling is seeking a trial by jury to resolve all issues in his asbestos-related case. He is being represented by Victoria Antion and Cindy J. Kiblinger.
The case has been assigned to a visiting judge.
