Monroe Co. couple sues CAMC for car wreck

CHARLESTON -- A Monroe County couple is suing CAMC Health System Inc. and an individual for a vehicle accident in Kanawha County.

On Aug. 4, 2009, Larry Green was a guest passenger in a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Phillip Frasher when Thomas R. Scott, who was an employee of CAMC Health System, and acting within the scope of his employment, struck Green's vehicle, according to a complaint filed March 30 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

Green claims he incurred medical expenses in the approximate amount of $9,700 because of the accident.

Green and his wife, Geraldine Green, are seeking compensatory damages. They are being represented by Tony L. O'Dell and Robert V. Berthold III.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Tod J. Kaufman.
