* On Nov. 23, 2008, the defendant was using an industrial cleaning product to clean his driveway and when he rinsed off the driveway, the product went into a tributary of Cow Creek through a storm water discharge pipe, according to the suit. Hurricane claims city representatives discovered foam in the reservoir and treatment works of the city's water plant and the WVDEP issued the defendant a notice of violation for discharging the cleaning product. The city claims it was forced to clean up the product that the defendant released into the water supply. Hurricane is seeking compensatory damages.

* Halsey was employed by the defendant from August 2009 until Feb. 11, 2010. He claims the defendant failed to pay his employment wages owed in full for the Jan. 25 through Feb. 7 pay period within 72 hours of his discharge. He is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
