HUNTINGTON -- Steelworks Production Systems is suing Consolidated Distributing and an individual for $30,000 it claims is owed.
Steelworks Production Systems is the holder of a promissory note with the defendants and, by reason of default in payment of the note, has declared the debt due, according to a complaint filed May 4 in Cabell Circuit Court.
The plaintiff claims Hector Curtis converted funds for his personal use.
Steelworks Production Systems is seeking judgment in the amount of $30,000, plus interest at the rate of 2 percent per annum and adjusted upon default to 16 percent per annum on Jan. 31, 2008. The company is being represented by Richard W. Weston.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge David M. Pancake.
