CHARLESTON -- A Boone County man is suing Form Motor Company for a defective 2007 Ford F-150 truck.
On May 7, 2007, Teddy Frye purchased the vehicle for $32,145, according to a complaint filed June 23 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Frye claims after purchasing the vehicle, he began to experience repeated non-conformities with the vehicle that substantially impaired the use and market value of the vehicle.
After a reasonable number of attempts, the manufacture did not conform the vehicle to the warranty, nor did Ford replace the vehicle with a comparable new vehicle, according to the suit.
Frye claims the defendant violated West Virginia Code.
Frye is seeking revocation of acceptance and refund of the purchase price of the vehicle, damages for repair costs and loss of use and punitive damages. He is being represented by Michael L. Glasser.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Louis Bloom
