CHARLESTON -- The Law Office of G. Patrick Jacobs is suing Aaron's Products, Decision Management Company and Village EDOCS for breach of contract
Mark Salmons was also named as a defendant in the suit.
Beginning in May 2008, the defendants represented to Jacobs that they had knowledge, experience and expertise in providing document solution services, according to a complaint filed June 16 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Jacobs claims the document solutions representations made by the defendants proved to be false and the data system he received does not work or function as represented and promised.
The defendants breached their duty to Jacobs by misrepresenting their document service capabilities, according to the suit.
Jacobs is seeking compensatory and punitive damages. He is being represented by J. Michael Ranson and Cynthia M. Ranson.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Louis Bloom.
