WAYNE -- A Ceredo woman is suing Advance Auto Parts after she sustained injuries from slipping on a liquid on its premises.
On May 26, 2009, Jessica Rahn was a business invitee on Advance Auto Parts' premises when she slipped and fell as a result of a clear liquid substance in the floor, according to a complaint filed June 17 in Wayne Circuit Court.
Rahn claims the defendant negligently and carelessly maintained its premises, failed to provide sufficient notice and reasonable warning of dangerous and hazardous conditions.
As a result of the defendants negligence, Rahn was injured and suffered great pain and anguish, according to the suit.
Rahn is seeking compensatory damages. She is being represented by R. Matthew Vital and Matthew R. Oliver.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge James H. Young Jr.
