CHARLESTON -- A McDowell County man is suing Chrysler after she claims a vehicle he purchased was defective.
On April 11, Nathan Newberry purchased a 2006 Jeep Wrangler from Thornhill Ford Lincoln Mercury for $15,000, according to a complaint filed Sept. 2 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Newberry claims after purchasing the vehicle, he experienced repeated non-conformities with it and after a reasonable number of attempts, the manufacturer did not conform the vehicle to its warranty nor replace it with a comparable vehicle that did conform to the warranty.
The defendant violated West Virginia Code, according to the suit.
Newberry is seeking revocation of acceptance and refund of the purchase price of the vehicle and damages for repair costs, loss of use and annoyance or inconvenience. He is being represented by Michael L. Glasser.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Carrie Webster.
