CHARLESTON -- A man is suing Ford Motor Company after he claims the vehicle he purchased was defective.
On Sept. 17, 2007, Cecil Brock purchased a vehicle from Moses Ford in St. Albans, according to a complaint filed Sept. 16 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Brock claims shortly after purchasing the vehicle, he discovered substantial defects in the vehicle and notified the dealership.
The vehicle has been returned to the dealership by Brock on at least three different occasions for repairs and has been out of service for a cumulative total of 30 or more days, according to the suit.
Brock claims the defendant has failed to repair the defective condition of the vehicle.
Brock is seeking revocation of acceptance of the vehicle and damages for the purchase price of the vehicle. He is being represented by Mary Downey.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Louis Bloom.
