CHARLESTON -- A St. Albans man is suing Prima Marketing after he claims it is responsible for injuries he sustained.
Prima Marketing is doing business as Prima 7-Eleven in St. Albans.
On Oct. 1, 2008, Danny Lockhart was at the 7-Eleven in St. Albans and was exiting the premises when he discovered the door was stuck, according to a complaint filed Oct. 1 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Lockhart claims he used his body weight to attempt to push open the door and sustained injuries to his right shoulder rotator cuff.
The defendant was negligent in maintaining the door and caused Lockhart to sustain severe and permanent injuries, according to the suit.
Lockhart is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest. He is being represented by John R. Mitchell.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Tod J. Kaufman.
