Cabell woman sues two individuals for injuries

HUNTINGTON -- A Cabell County woman is suing two men she claims are responsible for injuries she sustained when she was struck by a motorcycle.

On July 26, Stephannie N. Santiago was a pedestrian on the sidewalk near the intersection of Third Street and Eighth Avenue in Huntington when she was struck by a red motorcycle, according to a complaint filed Oct. 12 in Cabell Circuit Court.

Santiago claims Kyle Gregory Dangerfield was negligently, carelessly and unlawfully operating the motorcycle, which was owned by Earl S. Robinson III, in such a manner as to collide with her and cause injury.

Robinson negligently, carelessly and recklessly entrusted the motorcycle to Dangerfield, according to the suit.

Santiago is seeking compensatory and punitive damages. She is being represented by J. Michael Ranson, Cynthia M. Ranson and George B. Morrone III.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge David M. Pancake.
