HUNTINGTON -- An Ohio man is suing Volkswagen after he claims a vehicle he leased was defective.
On July 24, Jay Wolfe entered into a three-year lease for a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta from Moses Automotive in Huntington, according to a complaint filed Oct. 25 in Cabell Circuit Court.
Wolfe claims the vehicle vibrated significantly at speeds in excess of 55 mph and dragged at lower speeds.
The defendant serviced the vehicle on more than three occasions and each time, Wolfe was informed by the mechanics that the vibration issue was a problem, according to the suit, but, after several attempts, the vehicle was not repaired.
Wolfe claims the defendant breached its warranty by not repairing the vehicle.
Wolfe is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest. He is being represented by Timothy P. Rosinsky.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge F. Jane Hustead.
