* The plaintiff claims Wiley was driving under the influence of alcohol when he was grossly negligent and struck the plaintiff, a Berkeley County Sheriff's Deputy who was directing traffic following a severe snowstorm. The accident caused Carroll permanent injuries, mental anguish and other damages. Carroll has incurred more than $43,000 in medical expenses and lost more than $20,000 in wages because of the defendant's recklessness. The plaintiff is seeking an undetermined amount of relief from Wiley, as well as relief from the Self-Insurance Risk Pool.

He claims she then failed to pay expenses in violation of a nursing home contract. He says he has suffered extreme emotional distress as a result of her intentionally fraudulent behavior, and he is seeking an undetermined amount of relief from Clemmons as well as the banking companies where his accounts were held.
