CHARLESTON -- A former employee is suing TJX Companies after she claims it failed to pay her final wages in a timely manner.
Wendy C. Luther was employed by TJX Companies until Sept. 30, according to a complaint filed Nov. 16 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Luther claims she did not receive her final wages until Oct. 4, which is violation of the West Virginia Wage Payment and Collection Act.
Luther is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest. She is being represented by Todd Bailess.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Louis Bloom.
