CHARLESTON – A Harrison County woman is suing Nissan Motors America after she claims her vehicle was defective.
On Oct. 22, 2007, Rhonda Ice purchased a new Nissan Titan KC 4WD from the defendant for approximately $37,880, according to a complaint filed Jan. 10 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Ice claims that after purchasing the vehicle, she began to experience repeated non-conformities with the vehicle.
After a reasonable number of attempts, the manufacturer did not conform the vehicle to its warranty, nor did it replace the vehicle with a comparable new one that did conform to the warranty, according to the suit.
Ice is seeking revocation of acceptance and refund of the purchase price of the vehicle; damages for repair costs; and damages for loss of use, annoyance or inconvenience. She is being represented by Michael L. Glasser.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge James C. Stucky.
