* The Smiths claim Campbell told them about a 2007 Cadillac Escalade that he could reserve in his name and help them purchase for only $38,500. They claim Campbell advised them he could hold it for $11,600. Smith obtained their cashier's check on May 25, but kept delaying the meeting where he would deliver the vehicle, according to the suit. The Smiths claim after several weeks, they demanded a refund, but Campbell refused to do so. They are seeking compensatory and punitive damages .

* Waugh was employed by the defendant. On Aug. 23, 2008, he claims he was injured during the course of his employment and filed a Workers' Compensation claim and received temporary total disability benefits. On Jan. 15, 2009, he claims he received a letter from the defendant terminating his employment. He is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.
